Osteoarthritis (OA)

     Osteoarthritis is a mainly adult disease which is caused from articular cartilage damage leading to joint breakdown. The major factors are ages, gender, genetic background, accidence, excessive body weight which results in overload of knees and hip joints, chronic cartilage inflammation and overwork of knees etc. Breakdown of cartilage also affect to friction and stress of bone, and loss of cartilage and bone extracellular matrix (ECM).
